Pakistani ISI will have to pay the price for attacking Baloch people on Afghan soil, Tadain Achakzai stated

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Tadain Achakzai, Chief of Kandahar police, expressing grief on the killings of Baloch leaders, has stated that Pakistan’s ISI will have to pay the price for attacking Baloch people in Kandahar.

Tadain Achakzai is the Police Chief of Kandahar province of Afghanistan replacing his brother, late Raziq Achakzai who recently was killed in a suicide attack.

Achakzai believes that behind the killings of his brother as well as Baloch leaders in Kandahar is Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)

While talking to Afghan media, Mr.Achakzai further stated that “our Baloch guests were attacked, who had migrated to Afghanistan due to brutal operations of Pakistani Army and intelligence agencies”.

“The Baloch people are fighting very tough. The Pakistani military does not want them to be free, because they will lose 60 to 70 percent of Pakistan’s territory if the Balochis get freedom,” said political analyst from Afghanistan Dawar Nadi.

Six Baloch people along with a Baloch pro-freedom leader and Chief of militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Aslam Baloch were killed in a suicide attack in Kandahar city of Afghanistan on Monday.

Aslam Baloch was responsible for conducting a suicide attack on a bus carrying Chinese nationals in Dalbandin area of Balochistan in August and bomber was his elder son and also the foiled attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi city of Pakistan last month.

According to an article published on Israelnationalnews.com, ‘A February 2011 article by Selig S. Harrison of the Center for International Policy called for supporting “anti-Islamist forces” along the southern Arabian Sea coast, including “Baloch insurgents fighting for independence from Pakistan”, as a means of weakening the “rising tide of anti-American passion” in Pakistan and heading off any alliance between Islamabad and Beijing – Pakistan having granted China access to a naval base at Gwadar.’

The Balochistan insurgency is a guerrilla war waged by Baloch nationalists against the governments of Pakistan and Iran in the Balochistan region, which covers Balochistan Province in southwestern Pakistan, Sistan, and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran, and the Balochistan region of southern Afghanistan. Being crucial for Pakistan’s economic future, China has invested $46 billion in the region.
