The one-day protest camp was set up for the release of Baloch Missing Persons today in Dera Ghazi Khan district

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, the protest was organized by Baloch Raaj, translated as Baloch Nation, in Taunsa Shareef tehsil of Dera Ghazi Khan district.

The protest camp was set up to show solidarity with the families of Baloch Missing persons’ camp at Quetta and it aimed to highlight the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

Civil society members, political workers and rights activists visited the camp set up at ‘Kalma’ round-about in Taunsa Shareef.

The protest was concluded in the form of a rally, where participants raised slogans against the enforced disappearances and raised serious concerns over the human rights violations in Balochistan.

Similarly, one-day protest camps were held yesterday in several cities of Balochistan and in Karachi by Baloch Students Organization to show solidarity with the family members of the victims of state violence and abductions.

Whereas, Baloch students have called for a protest on Friday at 2 pm in front of Islamabad Press club.
