Security forces have handed over at least 30 missing persons to local administration on Sunday.

According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, on the 12th anniversary of Nawab Akbar Bugti’s martyrdom, at least 30 missing persons were handed over to the local levies forces in Sui and Dera Bugti.

The missing persons were abducted during different time periods in past.

According to the local sources, 23 men were handed over to the levies in Dera Bugti and 10 to the levies force in Sui.

A large number of missing persons have been produced in last few weeks, however, a similar number have also gone missing after military raids in different towns of Balochistan.

The term ‘Missing Persons’ is widely used in Balochistan for the people who were allegedly picked up by security forces but never produced in court of law for the legal proceedings, instead, kept in detention centers.
