In a firing incident in Kalat one person was killed whereas another was injured, while many villages in Turbat city of Balochistan are reportedly under military siege.

According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, Shapuk, Sami and many other villages in Turbat city are reportedly under the siege of Pakistani forces.

“A great number of Pakistan Army personals are deployed in the area while exit and entry routes of the villages are sealed, which indicates a massive military operation happening in the area”, the locals said.

Due to the absence of communication system in these remote areas, media is unable to receive detailed accurate information.

Earlier today in an incident of firing in Mangochar, Kalat district, a person was killed whereas another was injured. The deceased was identified as Zeenat ullah s/o Ameer Jan and the injured was identified as Rehmat Ullah s/o Attaullauh.

Both injured and the dead body were taken to the Mangochar health unit.

It could not be ascertained why the victims were attacked.
