Balochistan: Two men were killed in different incidents in Khuzdar district, whereas, unexploded hand grenades were found near Frontier Corps’ check post and a hotel in Hub.

According to the details, unidentified armed men killed a person in ‘Adanji’ town of Khuzdar, who was identified as Noor Ahmed s/o Phullan. Another person Abdul Karim s/o Burfi sustained injuries injuries in the attack. He was later taken to the hospital.

In another incident, two heavy vehicles collided with each other in ‘Sonaro’ town of Khuzdar, Killing at least one person named Yahya Khan and injuring another.

Moreover, in Hub city on Sunday, two different attacks by unknown assailants failed after hand grenades hurled during the attack couldn’t explode.

According to the TBP English correspondent, one hand grenades was hurled at a FC check-post, while other at a hotel, but grenades could not explode.

Incidents of violence in Balochistan surge every year around the 14th of August when Pakistan celebrates its Independence Day. In August, Baloch nationalist groups also observe ‘black days’ against, what they term, ‘illegal occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan.
