A missing person, who surfaced after year’s disappearance, has been picked up again by Pakistani security forces.

According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, Rashid Baloch was released couple of days ago after being in incommunicado detention for a year has been picked up by again during an early morning raid on his house in Kapkapar, Balochistan. According to Rashid’s family, he was picked up by men belonging to Pakistani security forces.

“They were the men of secret agencies, we prayed every day for Rashid Jan’s release, when God returned him to us, these tyrants took him away again,” cried a family member of Rashid Baloch.

A similar case was witnessed in 2011 when Pakistani forces abducted a young man, Nasir Dagarzai, from kharan, and threw his body on the roadside. Nasir had received bullet injuries and his killers had considered him dead, but he survived.

Nasir was picked up again by secret services, while he was on his way to a hospital for treatment. His bullet-riddled dead body was later dumped.

Nasir’s story was immortalized in the famous movie “The Line of Freedom” by British filmmaker, David Whitney.

“Abduction of fourteen Baloch civilians is continual of Pakistan’s policy of persecuting Balochs and strengthening their occupation of Baloch land”, said BSO-Azad’s spokesperson in a statement on Wednesday, condemning the abductions.
