Three bodies were recovered from the Ferozabad area of Khuzdar, according to local sources.
The sources said the bodies were shifted to a hospital for necessary legal procedures. Their identities, causes of death, and further details surrounding the incident have not yet been established.
Meanwhile, the bodies of two unidentified men were recovered from the roadside in the Mal Shahorai area of Surab. Local sources said the two men had allegedly been shot dead.
Following the report, police shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital Surab, where they were kept for identification. Police said further investigation into the incident was underway, while efforts to identify the deceased were ongoing.
Police have appealed to members of the public who may recognise either of the two men to contact Civil Hospital Surab and assist with their identification.
Similar incidents have been reported across Balochistan over the years, where unidentified bodies recovered from roadsides, deserted areas and mountainous regions were later identified as individuals who had previously been reported missing. Families of missing persons and rights groups have frequently alleged that some of the deceased were victims of enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killings. Pakistani authorities have denied involvement in many such allegations in the past.
