More than a dozen people were reported missing after Pakistani forces detained residents during an early-morning operation in Panwan, on the outskirts of the coastal town of Jiwani, local sources said on Saturday.
The sources said forces surrounded the area, searched several houses and took residents to undisclosed locations.
Those identified were Pir Gul, son of Ahmed; Sameer, son of Pir Gul; Siraj, son of Ibrahim; Rahim Jan, son of Hasil Khan; Guman, son of Murad Jan; Naveed, son of Dad Mohammad; Syed Mohammad, son of Lal Bakhsh; Shahzaib, son of Syed Mohammad; Nakhuda Noor Mohammad, son of Yousaf; Aman, son of Dad Mohammad; Hakeem, son of Abdul Karim; and Syed Mohammad, son of Yousaf.
Local sources said others were also detained, but their identities could not immediately be confirmed.
Separately, the bodies of three unidentified people were recovered from the Ganz-Panwan Road area and taken to a hospital. The circumstances surrounding their deaths were not immediately known.
Four further disappearance cases were reported from Sukkur, Quetta and Taunsa Sharif.
Mohammad Umar Bugti, a resident of Dera Bugti tehsil, was detained by Pakistani forces at a livestock market in Sukkur, Sindh, on July 1, according to information received by The Balochistan Post.
Shahid Baloch and Noor Mohammad Baloch were detained by Counter-Terrorism Department personnel in Quetta at around 3am on April 8, while Mubeen Baloch was taken from his locality in Taunsa Sharif at around 3am on July 2, local sources said.
Their whereabouts remained unknown.

Meanwhile, Pakistani forces carried out a large-scale operation in Gomazi, in Kech district’s Nahingkaur area, where a young man identified as Yahya, son of Abdul Karim, was detained and taken to an undisclosed location, local sources said.

The sources said quadcopters dropped bombs at three locations in Nahingkaur, while additional personnel were deployed and movement was restricted during a subsequent ground operation.
Pakistani authorities had not issued statements regarding the reported operations, detentions or recovered bodies at the time of publication.
