Two Baloch men were allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s Khuzdar and Quetta districts, while one previously missing man returned home, families and local sources said.
In Khuzdar district, 24-year-old Qadeer Majeed, son of Abdul Majeed, was allegedly taken by Counter Terrorism Department personnel at around 6:00am on April 30 from the Badrang area of Gresha.
His family has expressed serious concern over his whereabouts and demanded his recovery.
Separately, a Balochistan National Party (BNP) leader said his younger brother was taken in a late-night raid in Quetta and remains missing.
Ubaidullah Baloch, a former district president of BNP Panjgur and former chairman of Union Council Parom, said personnel in police uniforms raided his home in Quetta’s A-One City area at around 1:30am on May 2, searched the house and took his younger brother, Nasratullah Khan.

He said the family informed Brewery police station soon after but received no satisfactory response, adding that Nasratullah had not been shown arrested at any police station in the city.
Ubaidullah Baloch said no case had been registered against his brother and demanded that authorities clarify the grounds for his detention and produce him before a court.
Meanwhile, Razzaq Baloch, son of Qadir Bakhsh, who was allegedly forcibly disappeared from Mill Colony on Sariab Road in Quetta on April 27, returned home after being released in Mastung on April 30, his family said.
Pakistani authorities did not immediately comment on the reported disappearances or Razzaq Baloch’s return.
