A civilian was injured in a quadcopter attack reportedly carried out by Pakistani forces in the Dasht area of Mastung on Wednesday night.
According to local sources, the incident took place in Umar Dor, where a watchman at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) was targeted by a quadcopter drone. A device was dropped, causing an explosion that left the man named Sajjad Kurd seriously injured. He was subsequently taken to the hospital.
Authorities have not yet released any official statement regarding the incident.
Residents claim that such attacks have increasingly targeted the civilian population in different parts of Balochistan, sparking public outrage and protests.
Last month, three motorcyclists were killed in alleged helicopter shelling in Kardegap, while on 11 August, a young boy, identified as Muhammad, son of Abdul Ghafoor, was killed in Gomazi after mortar fire was reportedly carried out by Pakistani security forces.
Human rights groups and Baloch activists have repeatedly accused the military of using aerial attacks and heavy weaponry against civilians in the region.
