A coal miner has reportedly gone missing in Mach, Balochistan, after being detained by Pakistani security forces at a checkpoint.
According to local sources, Noor Bakhsh, son of Shah Muhammad Sumalani, was stopped at a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint while returning from Mach Bazaar on 25 August. He was allegedly taken into custody and moved to an undisclosed location. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Family members said Noor Bakhsh worked at a local coal mine and have appealed for his immediate recovery.
Authorities have not issued a statement regarding the reported incident.
