Two teenage boys have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces in Gwadar, amid a growing wave of enforced disappearances across Balochistan.

According to local sources, security personnel raided homes in the TTC Colony area of Gwadar on Wednesday and detained Feroz and Sheh Mureed, aged 16 and 15. Both are sons of Advocate Munir, a local resident.

Witnesses said the raid was carried out by a large contingent of forces who surrounded the area, vandalized property, and physically assaulted residents, including women. The two boys were reportedly taken into custody after being beaten.

The family has demanded their immediate release, expressing fears that the boys could be falsely implicated or harmed while in custody.

This is the second reported case from TTC Colony in the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, two other young men—Shoaib, son of Rafiq, and Hafeez, son of Musa—were allegedly detained from the same area and remain missing.

Rights groups and political organizations have repeatedly accused the Pakistani state of carrying out enforced disappearances across Balochistan. These organizations and the families of the missing have called on the state to end arbitrary detentions and to bring all detainees before a court of law as required by Pakistan’s Constitution and by international human rights law.
