According to reports, more than 16 individuals have gone missing in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti and Gwadar in the past 24 hours, allegedly at the hands of Pakistani forces. The disappearances have sparked widespread concerns over human rights violations in the region.

According to reports, Pakistani forces conducted raids in the Sui area of Dera Bugti, where five civilians were forcibly disappeared. Among those abducted were Tota s/o Musa Bugti, Ghazi s/o Chidu Bugti, and Jangal s/o Jafar Bugti, who were taken from Bugti Colony. Additionally, Jumma s/o Mahmood Bugti was allegedly abducted by intelligence agency personnel from the Doodwani Bridge, while Saifullah s/o Kohi Bugti was reportedly forcibly taken by security forces near Ashkani in the Sui city.

Meanwhile, in Pasni, eleven individuals were abducted from their homes, with the names of eight of them identified as Sajid, Faisal, Ahmed Raza, Saleem Raza, Naseeb, Maqbool Akram, Zaman Baloch, and Ali Baloch.

In a rare positive turn of events, Samiullah s/o Khalil Ahmed, who had been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in October 2024 from the Shahi Tump area of Turbat, was released and rejoined his family late on Monday night. His family has confirmed his recovery.
