At least two people were reportedly injured in an explosion due to gas leakage in Quetta, capital city of Balochistan on Sunday.
According to reports, two people received burnt injuries in an explosion due to gas leakage in a house located on street number 8 in Quetta’s Kasi Road. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
The district authorities confirmed the incident and said that further investigations into the incident is underway.
It’s pertinent to mention that every year, many such incidents are reported in different areas of Balochistan, especially Quetta, where many precious lives have been lost due to explosions caused by gas leakage. Mostly the gas explosions at homes are caused by unannounced load shedding.
