At least four people, including three law enforcement officials, were killed in three separate shooting incidents, with the discovery of a woman’s body in Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to the police, a police constable named Akthar Hussain was shot dead by unidentified suspects on Saryab Road in Balochistan’s capital, Quetta city, on Wednesday morning. Mr. Akhtar Hussain was an employee of the Balochistan Constabulary.

The police stated that the body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital while an investigation has been initiated. “The officer was on his way home after finishing his duty; two shells of a 9mm pistol were recovered from the spot,” the police told the media.

On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, also known as TTP, claimed responsibility for the targeted killing of the policeman in a media-issued statement on Wednesday.

Similarly, two Levies personnel have reportedly been killed in another shooting incident in the Machh (Bolan) area of Balochistan.

According to reports, two Levies personnel were shot dead in the Kurta Bolan area of Machh on Tuesday. While the deceased were identified as Wasim Khan and Abdul Malik, a father, and son who belonged to the Jatoi tribe, according to Levies sources, the incident was the result of a tribal dispute.

Soon after the incident, Levies personnel reached the scene and transferred the bodies to Civil Hospital Machh; later, the bodies were handed over to their family.

Meanwhile, another person was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Kech district of Balochistan on Tuesday. According to Levies sources, a man identified as Chacha Azeem was killed when gunmen opened fire in Hoshab.

Furthermore, the lifeless body of a woman was recovered from a house in Chaman city of Balochistan on Wednesday.

The body of the woman was discovered in the house located near Hindsoz Shaheen Maidan in Chaman. The woman had been shot dead, and her body was shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman for further investigation.
