Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, the leader of Haq Do Tehreek Balochistan, spoke at a press conference held in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. He expressed that two and a half years ago, Haq Do Tehreek initiated a peaceful protest to advocate for the rights of the Balochistan community.

He said that Haq Do Tehreek is a peaceful movement and all our demands were valid the constitution. Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo made a written agreement with us that we will solve all the problems, he said.

He said that the CM House is still occupied by a nationalist party that is opposing our demands. Our peaceful protest was brutality brought to an end with torture in the middle of the night,. Our campaign gave hope to thousands of youth who are disappointed with the state and who referred the democratic struggle instead of the mountains. He said that the population of over a dozen species of fish have been ended due to trawling. Anybody who speaks of honor is brutally killed or silenced, he said.
