The Pakistani state is continuously using different tactics to end our thirteen-year-long peaceful struggle, The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) stated.
The VBMP’s protest camp completed its 4911 days on Wednesday in front of the Quetta press club. Abdul Ghaffar Qambrani the leader of the National Party, Zaheer Ahmed, and other socio-political activists visited the protest camp in solidarity with the families of the victims.
On this occasion, vice chairman of VBMP, Mama Qadeer Baloch said that the “state is continuously using different tactics to end our thirteen-year-long peaceful struggle and it is using violence as a tool to maintain its illegal pressure.”
He said, on one hand, the state institutions enforcedly disappear people, on the other hand, to hide the bad deeds they make committees and commissions for only making dramas and playing with the emotions of the families.
He further said that we have always worn the attention of the United Nations and international human rights organizations to the serious violations of human rights in Balochistan and appealed to them to play their role.
Mama Qadeer said that the ongoing military operations, mutilated corpses, and forced disappearances are increasing to an alarming extent in Balochistan, there is a need to play a role to stop all these human rights violations and stop the oppression of the Baloch nation.
“All these violations of human rights are against the proposed Charter of Human Rights. It is miserable to say that not even a single word is being spoken by the United Nations,” he concluded.
