The Pakistani security forces reportedly opened fire on admirers who had gathered to commemorate the 119th birth anniversary of Sindhi nationalist leader GM Syed in his hometown, Jamshoro.

According to reports, admirers of Syed’s ideology and work gathered en masse to pay homage to his services. Hundreds of activists, workers, and leaders visited his grave, laid flowers on it, and prayed for his peaceful afterlife.

Sindhi nationalist circles also organized gatherings throughout Sindh to commemorate Syed’s birth anniversary and pay their respects to his work.
