The first All Sindh and Balochistan Cricket Tournament has kicked off in Sibbi, where the initial few matches will be played before the venue shifts to Hub Chowki.

According to reports, the tournament was inaugurated by Sports Secretary Muhammad Ishaq Jamali.

The tournament will be completed in two phases. The first phase will be played in the PCB Ground in Sibbi where 16 teams from different areas of Sindh and Balochistan will go head to head against each other.

The second phase will be played in Hub Chowki, where another tranche of 16 teams from Sindh and Balochistan will participate.

Addressing the inauguration crowd, Sports Secretary Muhammad Ishaq emphasized the positive impact of sports on the mind, body and society. He said games play a crucial role in creating a healthy and competitive society and dissuade the youth from indulging in harmful and self-destructive activities.

The first phase of the tournament will end in Sibbi on December 6 where the finalists would lock horns for the prized trophy.
