Four picnickers, including a child, trapped under debris in Balochistan’s coastal city of Gwadar are yet to be recovered, the local sources have said.

According to reports, four picnickers were trapped under debris after a large section of a nearby hill over their heads. It is still not clear whether the four young men survived the incident or not, but they likely died under all that debris.

The local sources claim that 72 hours after the incident, the district administration failed to recover the four men from under the debris. The district administration reportedly lacks the equipment and the machinery required to exhume the victims. A machine owned by a private company is reportedly digging the area to recover the buried picnickers, but it has made little headway.

The dead body of the child has been dug out but the remaining three men are yet to be recovered.
