According to reports, Pakistani forces have allegedly arrested two young men and forcibly disappeared them.

The detainees have been identified as Umar s/o Ghulam Qadir and Allah Noor s/o Hassan Noor.

Umar’s family reported on Thursday that three days earlier, the law enforcement forces summoned Umar to the Rinduk FC camp in Kharan. “He went to the camp and we haven’t heard from him since – the FC has kept him incommunicado,” family sources added.

While the other man Allah Noor was reportedly detained by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Pakistan. According to sources, last night CTD raided a house in Mashkay and took Allah Noor away. His whereabouts remain unknown since.

These two make the sixth case of enforced disappearance reported in the last 24 hours.

It is pertinent to mention that the incidents of enforced disappearances are being reported from different locations in Balochistan, on daily basis. Pakistani security forces have reportedly detained more than a dozen people from different areas of Balochistan including Karachi, Quetta, Kharan, and Khuzdar only last week.
