The students of a government school in Quetta’s Sariab area have staged a protest against the shortage of teachers. Only one teacher has been assigned to their school, according to the protesters.
The students have reportedly demanded that more teachers be sent to government schools in their area so that the children in the area can receive education without difficulties.
Residents of the area, as well as children, were present at the protest.
Residents have reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of basic necessities in Sariab. The residents said that even if a government school is created, locals will still struggle to receive education due to lack of teachers.
