The Pakistani security forces have reportedly initiated a large-scale operation in the mountainous region of district Gwadar. The operation is in full swing in Siyaji and its environs where the land forces are being assisted with aerial bombardment by the military choppers.

Local sources have told The Balochistan Post that the Pakistani security forces have launched a military operation in the Siyaji and Daramb areas of district Gwadar. A large drove of forces moved into the areas in vehicles and they also had aerial assistance in the form of gunship helicopters. The sources have said that the security forces are dispersed throughout the area, and some have also set up posts in there.

The gunship helicopters have reportedly bombarded several areas during the operation. No casualties have been reported yet, but the risks of human and material losses are high.

The authorities have not yet commented on the said military operations.
