Three people were killed and several others were injured on Monday in two separate explosions in the United Arab Emirates’ capital Abu Dhabi and Dubai, police said.
According to the foreign news agency, explosions took place in two different restaurants in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, The injured and dead were rushed to nearby hospitals.
One blast hit a KFC branch and Hardees restaurant on the city’s Rashid bin Saeed road while other retail outlets were also damaged. According to reports, the other blast in Dubai was caused by a gas cylinder, a fire broke out immediately after the blast, but the building was immediately evacuated from the residents.
It should be noted that after the agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, Israel’s first commercial flight is arriving in Abu Dhabi today.
A landmark agreement was reached between the UAE and Israel on August 13, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that secret talks were under way with several more Arab states for diplomatic relations.
