Activists from the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) recently held protests in Germany and UK against Pakistan over human rights violations and the killing of Baloch missing persons in a fake encounter.
Sher Muhammad Bugti, the Central spokesperson of the Baloch Republican Party, said in a statement issued to the media that protests were held in Hanover, Germany and in the United Kingdom against the brutal killing of five Bugti Balochs who were martyred in a fake encounter by Punjab police a day before Eid.
Addressing the protest, Jawad Baloch, the president of BRP Germany said that on the day of Eid, where all Muslims were celebrating Eid, the same day Pakistani army was cutting the throats of unarmed and forcibly disappeared Baloch people. When the people around the world were making sacrifices for the Islamic festival, the people of the Bugti tribe were busy burying their missing loved ones, he added.
He said that the silence of political and religious parties and human rights organizations in Pakistan on such inhumane and un-Islamic acts of Pakistan state is leading that they support the oppression on Baloch nation.
BRP Germany activists; Rashid Baloch, Abdul Jalil Baloch and Ijaz Baloch also addressed in the protest and condemned the “inhumane acts of the Pakistan Army.”
Addressing a rally in the UK, Mansoor Baloch the central leader of BRP said, “We are afraid that other missing persons will be killed in the same manner as the missing Baloch were martyred in Rajanpur.”
“It is the duty of human rights organizations to raise their voice against the inhumane atrocities committed by the Pakistani armed forces,” he added.
According to Baloch activists, thousands of Baloch political activists and intellectuals have been disappeared and many have been brutally killed, allegedly by Pakistan’s secret services and the Pakistan army.
Taking cognizance of the same, the Baloch people have been protesting across the world, seeking help from the international community and human rights organisations.
