Zahid Baloch along with Azam Baloch were allegedly taken away by Pakistani forces during a raid on 2012.

According to a brief statement issued by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), the group of family members of missing persons, Zahid Baloch, one of the two youths who went missing from Greshag area of ​​Khuzdar district on June 13, 2012, was released and returned home.

VBMP welcomed the release of Zahid Baloch and demanded that Azam Baloch, who went missing along with Zahid Baloch should also be released.

Whereas the issue of missing persons in Balochistan is becoming more and more serious, families of missing persons, political activists and humanitarian organisations have accused ‘Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies’ for enforced disappearances in the region.

Peaceful protests have been going on for over a decade under the leadership of Mama Qadeer Baloch and Nasrullah Baloch of VBMP, for the recovery of missing persons.
