In three separate incidents on Wednesday, a levies forces’ personnel was shot killed and 2 others suffered injuries.
According to details, Younis Hussain, a Levies Force officer, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Newano area of Zamuran Tehsil, Kech District of Balochistan.
Soon after receiving information about the Levies personnel, police and military forces rushed the site and shifted the body to the hospital. The police sources confirmed that no arrests have been made so far.
The local administration launched the case and started further investigation, while police said that the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained and assailants managed to escape easily, however, sources relayed that it was a target killing incident.
It should be noted that Zamuran and Buleda are one of the areas affected by the ongoing insurgency in Balochistan and religious extremists operate openly in the area, where various incidents of violence have been taking place continuously during the last two decades.
Meanwhile, in another incident of violence, a firing incident took place in Wadh Tehsil of Khuzdar District of Balochistan over a land dispute.
According to the details, the incident which took place in Wadh Dodki, sparked on a land dispute between two tribes; Hammal Zai and Gurgnari. One person was reported injured in the shootout, the injured man has been shifted to District Hospital for first aid facility.
Meanwhile, according to reports from Dalbandain, a firing incident took place when unidentified armed men opened fire in Dalbandain and injured a man named Ahmed Notezai.
According to sources, the injured man is employed in a private bank. According to hospital sources, the injured man has been shifted to Quetta city after rendering first aid, where his condition is said to be out of danger.
