UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said the Corona virus has created a tsunami of hatred. A surge of attacks on Muslims and conspiracy theories against Jews have been witnessed, he added.
The UN Secretary-General while expressing his concerns about ‘humanitarian catastrophe’ stated “the Corona epidemic had triggered a tsunami of efforts to spread racial hatred, fear and turn people into scapegoats.”
He stressed that efforts should be made to end the spread of hate speech around the world.
Antonio Guterres said, it is the time when refugees are being denied of medical care.
