A remote-controlled bomb, planted in a motorcycle, went off when Frontier Corp’s(FC) convoy was passing by
According to the Balochistan Post correspondent, FC convoy was targeted with a remote-controlled bomb in Chitkan town of Panjgur district today on Sunday.
The bomb was planted in a motorcycle and parked at Jama Mosque Road, which went off when FC convoy was passing by.
As a result of the blast, as per initial reports, several soldiers and a civilian have been injured, who were rushed to the nearby health facility.
Pakistani forces had cordoned off the area and a search operation was underway.
The markets were soon closed after the blast, as the shop-keepers feared retaliation by security forces.
No group has claimed for the responsibility of the attack yet.
