At least thirteen militants were killed in airstrikes of the foreign forces in south-eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan, the Afghan Military claimed on Sunday.
According to 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the Southeast, the coalition forces carried out airstrikes against the militants in Andar district, leaving 13 militants dead, Khaama News reported.
The source further added that the airstrikes targeted a mini truck and an armoured personnel carrier of the militants.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
Ghazni is among the relatively volatile provinces in south-eastern parts of the country, where the Taliban militants and other militant and terrorist groups including ISIS loyalists are active in some of its districts. These groups often carry out armed activities against the state forces.
