Pakistani forces’ convoys and posts were targeted in attacks across Balochistan, while armed fighters seized military supplies and commercial vehicles on the Quetta–Taftan highway, according to local sources and statements issued by Baloch armed groups.
Local sources said a military checkpoint at Hoshab Zero Point came under attack at around 7 a.m. on Friday. Ambulances were seen travelling to and from the location following the attack.
Later that afternoon, a Pakistani forces vehicle was targeted in a bomb explosion at Gowand Sareen on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in Hoshab. Losses were reported, although authorities had not confirmed casualties or provided further details.
An attack on Pakistani forces in Kalat’s Rodeenjo area also reportedly caused casualties. Separately, attackers planted explosives at a checkpoint used by Pakistani forces in Basima’s Durog area and blew it up.
In Gulistan, Killa Abdullah district, a bomb targeted the vehicle of Akbar, whom local reports identified as a commander of former Afghan army personnel. The attack took place within the jurisdiction of Gelo Police Station. Casualties were reported, but no figures were immediately available.
Convoy Attacks in Kachhi
The United Baloch Army (UBA) and Baloch Republican Guards (BRG), meanwhile, issued separate statements claiming attacks on Pakistani military convoys travelling between Dhadar and Sanni in Kachhi district.
UBA spokesperson Mazar Baloch said fighters ambushed an 18-vehicle convoy at Nosham at around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, targeting its first four vehicles. He claimed four military personnel were killed and three seriously wounded.
The spokesperson said fighting continued for about an hour and a half, adding that Pakistani forces used quadcopter drones from nearby checkpoints to attack the fighters’ positions. He said the fighters withdrew after the attack.
BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said the group’s fighters ambushed a convoy travelling from Dhadar to Sanni at two locations.
“Six military personnel were killed on the spot and several others wounded, while military vehicles were also disabled,” he said.

Vehicles and Military Supplies Seized
Armed fighters seized two commercial vehicles travelling towards Taftan in Chagai’s Cheyahtar area on Saturday morning, according to local sources.
A day earlier, a vehicle carrying rations for Pakistani forces was seized along with its cargo between Dalbandin and Yakmach on the same highway. Local sources said the supplies were being transported to a military camp in Nokundi.
The seizures come amid the Baloch Liberation Army’s (BLA) declared policy of “economic blockade”, under which the group has targeted mineral transport and other commercial traffic on major highways. However, the BLA had not claimed responsibility for the latest seizures at the time of reporting.
KAAD Joined Buleda Assault, BLF Says
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), in a statement issued on Saturday, claimed responsibility for the October 28 attacks in Buleda, where local sources had reported female and male fighters attacking a military camp, ambushing a convoy and establishing roadblocks.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said fighters from the group’s Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD), its female combat unit, and Qurban Unit blocked two sides of Minaz Bazaar and inspected vehicles while other fighters attacked the military camp in Alandur.
The group claimed that a surveillance camera and a quadcopter were destroyed during the attack.
Gwahram said a four-vehicle reinforcement convoy was ambushed at Bit, killing four military personnel and wounding several others. Two vehicles were destroyed, he added.
The BLF claimed three more personnel were killed when another military detachment attempted to advance into the area from a different direction.
Pakistani authorities had earlier acknowledged the roadblocks and said one suspected fighter was killed during a response operation.

The BLF identified its fighter killed in the clashes as Hashum, alias Noor Baloch, son of Muhammad Umar, from Absar Bund Bazaar in Turbat. It said he joined the organisation in 2023 and had served in its urban and intelligence units, later moving to its mountain forces.
The group also alleged that Pakistani forces had twice attacked his family home with grenades and forcibly disappeared his elder brother, adding that “his parents were forced to hold a press conference”.
BLF Claims 28 Personnel Killed in 13 Operations
The BLF’s statement detailed 13 operations between October 8 and 31, including the Buleda attacks. It claimed a total of 28 personnel were killed.
Gwahram said a soldier was killed in a sniper attack at Maal in Nushki’s Jan Baig area on Saturday. He also claimed four soldiers were killed in an ambush on a military convoy in Balour, Kolwah, on October 28.
The statement claimed further casualties in attacks on a convoy in Mastung’s Omar Daro area on October 27 and a Frontier Corps camp at Tejaban Karki in Kech on October 25, without providing figures.
Earlier attacks listed by the group included an October 19 attack on personnel guarding road construction at Ahori in Awaran’s Tirtej area, in which it claimed two personnel were killed and one wounded. It also claimed five personnel were killed in an October 18 convoy ambush in Jhao’s Mandho area and reported a clash in Tump’s Klaho, Jaalbar, on October 16.
The BLF said three personnel were killed in an explosive attack and subsequent convoy ambush at Hajika in Surab on October 14. It claimed another four were killed in two attacks on a convoy in Splinji and Maro on October 8.
The spokesperson also claimed responsibility for attacks on police and Counter Terrorism Department personnel in Dera Murad Jamali on October 10, naming two police personnel he said were killed as Ahmed Lashari and Malik Bugti. Their weapons were seized, he added.
Separately, the BLF claimed it destroyed equipment at a Ufone tower in Dera Murad Jamali’s Uch Power area on October 15.
