The Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC) held a protest at the University of Turbat against the shooting of three female students at Girls Degree College Nushki.
A large number of male and female students joined the demonstration, organised by BSAC’s Turbat zone, and carried placards condemning the attack.
The college administration said three masked gunmen entered the premises on Tuesday, October 27, and opened fire on students. One of the wounded, Rukhsana, was referred to Quetta because of the severity of her injuries, hospital sources said.
BSAC had earlier condemned the shooting and called for justice for the injured students. “Previously, teachers and professors were targeted, and now students are being targeted,” its central spokesperson said at the time.
