Prince Mohammad Khan Ahmedzai, son of the Khan of Kalat, was reportedly abducted by unidentified armed men along with three of his guards while travelling from Khuzdar to Kalat, according to police and district administration sources.
According to police, Prince Mohammad, son of Khan Suleman Khan Dawood, was travelling with his three guards last night when armed men intercepted them between Surab and Kalat and abducted them.
District administration sources said the abduction took place in the Khesoon Dhoon area along the national highway in Kalat.
Police said that, following reports of the incident, police and other law-enforcement agencies had begun efforts to secure the safe recovery of Prince Mohammad and his guards.
