Two people were killed and several others injured when a passenger coach collided with a pickup vehicle at Makola on the Makran Coastal Highway, police said.
Police identified those killed as Sagheer Ahmed of Turbat and Amjad of Bangla Bazaar in Pasni.
Rescue teams reached the scene following the collision and transferred the bodies and injured to a hospital.
SP Coastal Highway Hafeez Ameer said the coach driver fled the scene after the collision, while police detained the vehicle’s cleaner.
Police said an investigation was under way to determine the cause of the accident.
