The Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a protest outside the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in London to express solidarity with the victims of the ongoing military operation in Zehri, district Khuzdar, Balochistan.
According to organisers, the demonstration was held to condemn the military operation, curfew, and reported aerial bombardments and drone strikes by Pakistani forces in various parts of Zehri and neighbouring areas of Khuzdar district.
Protesters gathered outside the FCDO, calling on the international community to break its silence over the reported siege and military actions in Zehri and Khuzdar.
Participants carried placards displaying images of those reportedly affected by the bombardments, along with slogans demanding an end to the curfew in Zehri.
During the demonstration, speakers alleged that Pakistani military helicopters targeted civilian areas in Chado, Moola Chari, and Zehri, resulting in casualties, including women and children.
They said the purpose of the protest was to raise awareness within the international community about the ongoing situation in Balochistan and to urge global actors to take practical steps to address reported human rights violations.
There has been no official response from Pakistani authorities regarding the allegations made by the protesters.
