Five civilians were reportedly injured in a Pakistani military quadcopter strike after a large number of Baloch armed fighters entered Balochabad and Bullo in Mand, Kech district, and took control of the areas on Friday.
Local sources told The Balochistan Post that the fighters entered both areas earlier in the day and remained in control, while Pakistani forces subsequently carried out strikes using quadcopters.
Early reports indicated there were no casualties, but later information from the area said five civilians had been injured in the strikes.
Several Baloch pro-independence armed groups are active in Mand and other parts of Kech, but no group had claimed responsibility for the operation at the time of publication.
