Four individuals have reportedly gone missing after being “abducted” by the Pakistani forces in separate incidents in Karachi and Kech.
According to reports, two men,identified as Abdul Sattar s/o Murad Shah and Muhammad Hasl s/o Khuda Bandag, were reportedly detained in Karachi’s Raees Goth area. Their families said both were migrant workers in the United Arab Emirates and had recently returned home for a holiday.
In a separate incident in Kech district’s Kolwah area, two more individuals, Manzoor s/o Muhammad and Bilal s/o Allah Bakhsh, both residents of Ashal, Kolwah, were reportedly taken into custody.
The whereabouts of all four individuals remain unknown, and local sources have expressed concern over their disappearance.
It pertain to mention that enforced disappearances have been reported across Balochistan for years, with families and human rights groups calling for information and accountability regarding those taken into custody by security forces.
