The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released a comprehensive report detailing its armed operations in the first half of 2024, from January to June, claiming the deaths of 112 security personnel in 108 attacks across Balochistan.

The report, published on BLF’s media channel Ashob, stated that operations targeted Pakistani forces and their alleged ‘collaborators’, construction companies operating in Balochistan, and military installations, including mobile towers. The report states that over 74 security personnel were injured during these attacks.

The BLF reported the deaths of 5 collaborators, with weapons seized from one of them. In addition, 5 military vehicles were completely destroyed, while several other vehicles and motorcycles were heavily damaged. The group also claimed the destruction of 4 trucks, 3 bulldozers, and one trailer, and the deflation of tires on 8 trucks.

The report highlighted that the BLF damaged several vehicles and machinery of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) — a vital administrative branch of the Pakistan Army — through gunfire. This included dumpers, loaders, and other equipment. In two separate incidents, the group attacked Pakistani police forces, seizing their weapons.

Furthermore, the BLF claimed to have shot down two surveillance drones and destroyed 4 mobile towers by setting them on fire. The group also reported the destruction of one crushing plant during their operations.

The BLF stated that they had captured 6 security personnel, including two FC soldiers, and confiscated 17 weapons during the reporting period. The group conducted 9 remote-controlled bomb attacks and 7 hand grenade attacks.

The report concluded with a tribute to 4 BLF fighters who were ‘martyred’ in combat. The BLF vowed to continue their operations until the complete independence of Balochistan and the withdrawal of Pakistani forces from the region.
