Pakistani secretive agencies have allegedly forcibly disappeared a father along with his children from Gwadar, the coastal city of Balochistan on Sunday.

According to reports, a father along with his children was forcibly taken into custody allegedly by Pakistani intelligence agencies from the Javed Complex in Gwadar city. However, later the children were released while the father was still missing.

The missing father has been identified as Lala Rafique son of Rasool Bakhsh.

It’s pertinent to mention that the series of enforced disappearances and public protests in Balochistan indicate a growing human rights crisis in the region. This development calls for immediate attention and action by national and international human rights bodies to address the alarming issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
