Pakistani forces have been targeted in three separate attacks in the Kech district of Balochistan, and BLA has claimed responsibility.
According to reports, the armed attacks targeted the main camp of Pakistani forces on the CPEC route in Tijaban and the security forces at an outpost in Karki on Wednesday.
Similarly, unidentified gunmen reportedly attacked a Pakistani forces post in the Kolwah area of district Kech.
Sources confirmed that Pakistani forces have suffered casualties in the simultaneous attacks. However, the authorities have not yet provided any details in this regard.
A Baloch “pro-independence” armed organization, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in a media statement has taken responsibility for carrying out the aftermentioned attacks.
The group spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch told the media that BLA fighters targeted the Pakistani army in three separate attacks in the Tijaban, Karki, and Kolwah areas of Kech, which resulted in the killing of three army personnel and injuring seven. “While an enemy surveillance drone was also shot down in the attacks”, BLA spokesperson claimed.
