Residents recorded a protest on Wednesday against the closure of internet services for at least one year in the Panjgur district of Balochistan.

According to reports, citizens of Pangur carried out a protest rally from Javed Chowk to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office against the closure of the internet services

The protesters said that internet services of mobile phone companies have been shut down in Panjgur for more than a year, people were relying on PTCL’s internet connection, but that has also been closed for a month now.

They said that the closure of internet services has affected common citizens, businessmen, students, journalists, and people from all walks of life.

The protesters demanded that internet services should be restored immediately.

The protest call was given by the Civil Society Panjgur and local students. While the All Parties City Action Committee Parom and other social workers supported the call.
