The relatives of the forcibly disappeared family on Tuesday submitted the details of the enforced disappearance of their loved ones to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), an organization active for the safe release of forcibly disappeared persons.

While providing details to the VBMP, a female resident of the Zehri area of Khuzdar district of Balochistan said that a large number of Pakistani forces in Geshkuri town Quetta stormed into the house of her son-in-law Muhammad Rahim and forcibly took her daughter Rasheeda, son-in-law Muhammad Rahim, their two kids and mother of Muhammad Rahim with them.

According to the mother of Rasheeda, her daughter, and son-in-law are still in the custody of Pakistani forces, while the mother of Muhammad Rahim Zehri and his two children have been released last night.

In a conversation with VBMP leaders, victim Rasheeda’s mother said that her daughter and son-in-law have not yet been brought to the daylight, and they are not being told by the security officials that in which crime their family members have been detained and where are they held currently.

It should be remembered that in the past, such incidents have taken place in Balochistan where women and children have been subjected to the enforced disappearances.

Muhammad Rahim Zehri son of Chakar Khan Zehri, his one-year-old daughter Dua Zehri, his four-year-old son Yahya Zehri, his wife Rasheeda Zehri, and Mother BashKhatoon were among the above-mentioned persons who went missing after being arrested from Quetta. They were reportedly detained by Pakistani forces during a search operation in Geshkuri Town, Nashnas Colony, on February 3.

Later, on Monday night, Rahim’s mother and 2 children recovered last night but Rahim and his wife’s whereabouts still remain unknown.
