Three youths have reportedly gone missing in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

According to reports, three young men were ‘forcibly disappeared’ allegedly by Pakistani forces from the Civil Colony in Khuzdar city.

The abductees have been identified as Asim Majeed, Sikandar, and Asif. The youths are residents of the Asadabad town of Khuzdar and are employed in a shopping center in the city.

As per local sources, no information has been received about their whereabouts so far. The district authorities have also not commented in this regard.

It’s to be mentioned that seven cases of enforced disappearances have been reported in Balochistan within a week. A couple of days earlier, four students were forcibly disappeared allegedly by Pakistani forces in Quetta — the news of which was confirmed by their relatives.

Three out of the four abductees who went missing in Quetta have been released, whereas, one student, Waheed Sakhi, remains missing. “He belongs to a very poor family and his father is working in the UAE as a laborer. He came to Quetta to continue his studies.” Sakhi’s close friend said.
