Two people were killed and seven more injured in a firing incident outside Quetta’s session court on Thursday.

According to Police sources, armed men opened fire on a group of people and left two people dead and seven others injured on the spot. The assailants escaped unhurt from the spot.

The injured were shifted to the civil hospital Quetta for medical assistance. the hospital administration confirmed admitting seven injured people in the firing incident.

Police reached the scene and started an investigation into the matter. As per the Police, a tribal elder Sardar Naseem Tareen also suffered injuries. “The incident seems to be a tribal dispute between two groups”, a senior police official said.

Police officials told media that stated that so far no arrest was made in connection with the killing of two people and the firing incident.
