A teacher named Nazeer Ahmed was forcibly disappeared allegedly by Pakistani forces from Khuzdar District of Balochistan on Wednesday.

Ahmed is a resident of Khuzdar’s Khatan town. He was reportedly abducted by Pakistani military forces around 2 pm on Wednesday in front of a local mosque in the city. As per reports, he has been transferred to an unknown location and his whereabouts are unknown since.

It’s worth mentioning that Nazeer Ahmed was also reportedly abducted by Pakistani forces a year ago on 13th March, 2021, but was released after three months. Whereas, Nazeer Ahmed’s elder brother, journalist Muneer Ahmed Shakir, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on 14th of August 2011, in Khuzdar.

According to local sources, journalist Munir Ahmed was shot killed by “government-backed death squad”members.

It is to be noted that earlier last month, Pakistani security forces allegedly abducted another teacher, Kifayatullah Baloch, from the Mangochar area of Kalat, who is still missing.

According to Kifayatullah’s wife, Pakistani security forces forcibly abducted her husband, Kifayatullah Baloch, a teacher, on the night of February 11.

Similarly, Hafeez Baloch, a student of Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, was reportedly abducted by Pakistani security forces from Khuzdar on 8th February 2022, when he was teaching at a private academy in Khuzdar.
