Baloch Students Organization Azad Chairman Sohrab Baloch in a tweet criticizes the government imposed ban on political and Organizational functions in educational institution of Balochistan.
“The government imposed ban on political and organizational functions in educational institutions of Balochistan is in fact a way of preventing students from supporting the independence movement”, he said.
Balochistan government’s ban on political & organizational functions in educational institutions is to restrain students from the struggle of independence. Ban on @BSO__AZAD is to counteract political movement & current ban is to make students indecisive & we will not allow this pic.twitter.com/VnD7nbkmh5

“The government should keep in mind that even their 2013 ban imposed on BSO did not keep the organisation from operating unmarred. In fact, BSO has been running undercover since 2005 and shall continue to do so. The current ban exposes the government’s own fragile position in Balochistan”, he added.
According to reports the ‘Higher Education and Colleges’ has sent notice to all the colleges and higher authorities government of Balochistan to ban all kind of political and functional organizations in education institutes of Balochistan.
The notice further says that in case of violation disciplinary action will be taken against the violators under Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act (BEEDA) rules.
