Three people, including a 15-year-old student, have been reported missing after allegedly being detained by Pakistani armed forces in Balochistan’s Noshki district and Pasni area, sources said.
Sources said personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Frontier Corps (FC) raided the home of Sarbaz, son of Baloch Khan, in Noshki’s Qaziabad area at around 3 a.m. on May 10 and took him into custody.
Sarbaz, 15, was later moved to an unknown location, the sources added.
In a separate incident, Qasid, son of Badal, a resident of Sardasht Kulanch, was reportedly taken from his shop in Pasni’s Babarshor area at around 5 p.m. on May 14 by Pakistani army and Military Intelligence personnel.
Naseeb, son of Eid Mohammad, a resident of Rekpusht, Ward No 7, Pasni, was also allegedly detained by Military Intelligence and personnel linked to a “death squad”, sources said.
No information has so far emerged about the whereabouts of the three people, while their families are said to be deeply concerned.
Pakistani authorities did not immediately comment on the reported disappearances.
