The body of a man was recovered from the Nasirabad area of Turbat in Kech District, Balochistan, according to police officials.
The deceased was identified as Naveed, son of Murad Muhammad, a resident of Nasirabad.
Police said local residents informed authorities after discovering a body lying in the area. Police personnel later arrived at the scene and, following an initial examination, said the man appeared to have been shot dead.
The body was taken into custody and transferred to a hospital. After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the victim’s family.
Police said the motive behind the killing has not yet been determined.
