The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a construction company’s camp in Naal, Khuzdar, while stating that all individuals taken into custody during separate incidents have since been released unharmed.

In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said the group’s fighters carried out an attack on 23 October 2025 on the camp of a construction company working on what he described as an “exploitative project” in the Kaleri area of Naal. According to the statement, heavy machinery at the site was damaged and 19 employees of the construction company were taken into custody during the operation.

The spokesperson further alleged that following the incident, Pakistani security forces launched what he described as intense aerial and ground operations in the area at various times, aimed at targeting those in BLF custody. He claimed that despite what he termed “aggressive actions” by the forces, BLF fighters managed to repel these efforts and kept all detained individuals safe under what he described as difficult conditions.

Major Gwahram Baloch said that most of the detained individuals belonged to the neighbouring Sindhi community. He added that appeals for their release were made by what he described as nationalist and humanitarian circles, including the Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA). According to the BLF statement, the group decided to release the Sindhi detainees “with dignity and safety,” citing what it called historical mutual respect between Baloch and Sindhi communities. The spokesperson claimed that those released have since returned to their families.

The BLF statement also referred to a separate incident on 12 December in the Basima area, where the group claimed its fighters detained two officials associated with Pakistan’s Customs Department during a blockade. The spokesperson said that, following appeals by political figures and on what he described as humanitarian grounds, the two officials were treated well during custody and released safely after the completion of questioning.

Major Gwahram Baloch stated that the BLF has now released all individuals who were in its custody. He added that the group claims it does not harm individuals who, in its view, are not involved in actions against the Baloch people.

In the concluding part of the statement, the BLF spokesperson appealed to neighbouring communities, particularly Sindhi and Pashtun people, to refrain from working on development projects in Balochistan that the group characterises as exploitative, or from joining Pakistan’s military.
