The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani military camp in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, stating that four soldiers were killed and several others injured.

In a statement issued to the media, the group’s spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, said that its fighters “surrounded and targeted” what he described as a central military camp in the Garamkan area on Wednesday night. According to the statement, BLA fighters launched the assault from two directions, firing more than twenty rockets and using “modern and automatic weapons”.

The spokesperson asserted that the attack resulted in the deaths of four Pakistani soldiers and left at least seven others injured, in addition to causing what he termed “significant financial losses”.

The group stated that it takes responsibility for the attack. Pakistani authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
